Turning ad spend into patient leads
Closed an 80% lead leak, cut Google Ads spend by $70K and brought Meta's cost per landing-page visit from $27.67 to $0.17.
The stakes
Marketing spend was generating patient demand the business wasn't capturing. The legacy lead system dropped roughly 80% of inquiries, paid search was running at $292 per conversion, and Meta ran fear-based creative that sent traffic to broken links.
How I led it
- Moved patient intake to a call-center service, routing every inquiry to our team and local sales reps.
- Directed the Google Ads rebuild with our paid media manager and owned the monthly performance review with the VP of Marketing.
- Rebuilt Meta as a three-stage patient funnel (awareness, consideration, decision) with our video and paid media partners, and delivered the content for every stage.
- Shifted creative from fear-based ads to solution-first video built on a surgeon's plain-language hooks, which outperformed clinical messaging two to three times over.
The impact
Team results, led with our paid media manager and video producer.
